- Lots of playing time, with minimal talking-time.
- High helper-to-player ratio. (In other words, lots of staff)
- Emphasis on quality guest trainers -- specialists from Britain, Coach Lolla of University of Louisville (U of L was a 2010 NCAA Division I finalist), Coach Chris of Kentucky Christian University (as a senior/captain of the team, he led KCU to a national championship), and more!
- Soccer as a metaphor for the game of life -- especially the Christian life. Each session features a 5-minute break in the middle, during which one of the coaches shares a thought from the Book of Life (the Bible)
Each coach, trainer, and volunteer is carefully screened and trained by Skyrocket Director, Doug Lucas.
