Breaking News: Skyrocket to Merge with Centurion Summer Sports Camps PDF Print E-mail

Effective immediately, Skyrocket Soccer will now become Centurion Soccer Camp. Both a "Junior", as well as a "Senior" age group will take place, just as previously published under the Skyrocket name. Times, dates, and over all thrusts will remain unchanged. [Download the 2009 Camp Brochure.]

"By merging Skyrocket with CAL, the CAL Athletic Department felt we would present a more seamless face to the public," explained Doug Lucas, Founder and former Director of Skyrocket Soccer. "I'll have to admit - It will be nice not to have to shoulder all the administrative load of the camp. This will permit me to focus almost entirely on the content and coaching staff."

"We're excited that Skyrocket Soccer will continue to operate at CAL under the name Centurion Soccer," reported Mark Butler, Athletic Director at Christian Academy. "Our goal here is to unify athletic programming under one banner so that it's easier for our students and friends to take advantage of fine offerings like the former Skyrocket Soccer Academy, now known as Centurion Soccer Camp."

Watch for more details about how to register. Very shortly, CAL will be releasing full instructions. Although there might not be an online registration form for 2009, it is highly likely that online registration will be avilable beginning 2010. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we make these adjustments in motion throughout 2009. We look forwad to seeing you June 8-12 for the same top-quality soccer, now under the banner of "Centurion Soccer."
